The Michelle Johnston School of Highland Dancing was first formed in Northern Ireland in 2007. With classes now located in various venues across the Province, over 50 dancers, girls and boys ranging from 3yrs to 20yrs, are registered with the school.
The dancers regularly compete World wide and have lifted trophies and awards all over Ireland, Scotland, America and Canada.
In 2012, 2013 & 2014, we lifted more trophies @ The Ulster Highland Dancing Championships than any other dancing school.
Performances are also a regular occurence on the school's calendar.
Sharing the stage with talents such as Janet Devlin, General Fiasco & Twist&Pulse has also been very exciting for our troupe.
In the summer of 2012 the dancers were highly priveledged to be asked to perform at Olympic Torch Ceremonies across the country.
Our greatest honour to date has to be dancing for the Queen as she made her way through the grounds of Stormont.
Not only have we had fantastic opportunities to perform accross the U.K.
For several years we have had the privilege to dance in Dubai as part of the United Arab Emirates Anniversary Celebrations.
Lets hope for even more events, success and travelling in years to come...
